Zoom Made Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Does Keitha Look Like a Seahawk Fan?

This post started out with all sorts of fancy stuff. However, our Ocean Shores Librarian, Keitha Owen, showed that simple can be best. In an email, she wrote:

Hi Steve

Have people that are interested in learning about Zoom call the library between 11 - 3 Tuesday - Saturday and make a Book a Techie appointment with Nick

Speaking later with Keitha at the library later, she indicated that Nick could help show people how to use Zoom (and other meeting software) on a library PC, on a personal laptop, on a tablet, or on most kinds of phone.

For those that have not been to the library recently, the current approach is for a patron to call and make an appointment. You'll be asked if you want to use a library PC or browse the lending materials. In this case, just say "I want to have Nick make Zoom easy for me!"

When you get to the library, you'll be expected to wear a mask, and Michelle will take your temperature before entry. They're being VERY careful to keep things safe for all. While you're inside, be sure to say hello to the librarians in a socially distant, but friendly manner.

Photos are Michelle Traer holding up the entrance thermometer and Louise Loughlin at the checkout desk - and Keitha showing us new varieties of Seahawk fan apparel.

My apologies about this post. The "new and improved" blogger has made some stuff a lot more difficult than it used to be. Sigh...
